It is one of the most popular areas of Bidart. The Ilbarritz district offers its residents an exceptional living environment, with its castle above the ocean, its white sandy beach and its restaurants right by the water. The area is also home to the Ilbarritz golf course, renowned for its exceptional location facing the Atlantic and for its unique training center in Europe. The district is located north of the town of Bidart, on the edge of Biarritz and a few steps from the Cité de l'Océan. Goods sell for between 5,600 and 5,900 euros per m2.
Bidart town center is the liveliest sector of the city: it hosts summer events and festivities as well as traditional and seasonal markets. We appreciate the residences with typical Basque architecture and the authentic setting offered by the 16th century church, the town hall, the pediment and the trinquet. The neighborhood is popular for its local shops, but also for the accessibility it offers at the Center beach. Real estate sells there from 4,500 euros to more than 5,800 euros per m2 depending on the services.
Close to the beaches of Uhabia and Parlementia, the district is made up of beautiful suburban areas such as those of Urone and Maurice Pierre, but also historic residences and magnificent villas, detached or split into condominiums. In the neighborhood, there are good addresses for lovers of the pleasures of the table, a sports complex and a wall on the left for the ball. Real estate can be found in the real estate sector, which can offer superb views of the ocean and the Pyrenees. The price per m2 of neighborhood goods can range from 5,400 to more than 5,900 euros.
Plateau de Bidart district
Located near Erretegia beach, the Plateau is residential and offers a wide range of properties, between suburban areas, villas on the cornice and apartments in recent residences. The proximity to shops, including a supermarket, surf shops and many restaurants, is an asset for the neighborhood. Prices can vary widely depending on the performance of the property and its location in relation to the ocean, from 5,350 to 5,950 euros per m2.
Between rue Burruntz and avenue Source royale, the Source Contresta district, the most famous of the nine sources in Bidart, is a pleasant residential area. It is mainly composed of individual houses with land, but also small luxury residences offering unobstructed views of the Pyrenees mountains. Apartments with a terrace can be found between 4,300 and 4,400 euros per m2. There is also a green setting, between wooded area and land still cultivated.
To the east of the motorway, the Bassilour district of Bidart benefits both from a privileged natural setting in a sparsely urbanized sector, and from the proximity of expressways for travel in the Basque Country and to the Spain. The area is home to an active mill and its 16th century farm. You can find quiet residential areas like the Pemartia subdivision, but also beautiful villas with large grounds on the heights, which offer a sublime and unobstructed view of the mountains. The average price per m2 in the Bassilour district is 4,800 euros.
