Murielle Vanhove Exhibition

As part of its art programme, BARNES Côte Basque is delighted to host, within its BARNES Biarritz agency, an exhibition dedicated to painter Murielle Vanhove, in partnership with the Galerie Barrou Planquart.

Painting movement and the fleeting moment

A contemporary artist, Murielle Vanhove develops a singular body of work centred on scenes of life and figures in motion. Her compositions, created in acrylic and watercolour, subtly convey the rhythm of everyday life, between presence and fleetingness. Her work can also be explored on her personal website.

Through her paintings, the artist captures suspended moments, a moving crowd, light passing through space, a shifting urban atmosphere. The figures, often only sketched, leave room for interpretation and invite the eye to focus on what matters most, the gesture, the light, the energy.
